Leave with a clearer picture

More options start with
understanding what you have.

01

More flexibility for retirement

See how housing wealth could fit alongside your income and savings, helping you consider another source of funds when you need it.

02

A credit line you understand

Learn the difference between opening a HECM line of credit and drawing on it. Available credit is borrowing capacity, not investment earnings.

03

A decision that fits your life

Understand costs, homeowner responsibilities, alternatives and the impact on your family before deciding what makes sense for you.

A HECM (Home Equity Conversion Mortgage) is a federally insured reverse mortgage loan for eligible homeowners age 62 or older. It uses your home as security and has costs and ongoing obligations. The workshop is a chance to learn; no decision to borrow is required.

Bring it with you to the conversation.

LET’S MAKE THAT CLEAR

A HECM is a loan.
Your home is still yours.

With a HECM reverse mortgage, you keep title to your home. You must meet the loan terms, including living in the home as your principal residence, paying property taxes and homeowners insurance, and maintaining the property. Failing to meet those terms can lead to foreclosure.

General information about HECM reverse mortgages. Eligibility, costs and suitability depend on your circumstances. This is not personalized financial, tax or legal advice.

Your pace. Your preference.

Let’s take the
next step together.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. Choose the conversation that feels comfortable for you.

01

Learn alongside other homeowners

Our next Zoom workshop brings ideas from Rob’s book into a practical conversation about housing wealth, HECMs and your choices.

Before we meet

A few things
to know.

What can I expect from the workshop?

A welcoming space to learn, ask questions and explore how housing wealth could fit your retirement. Rob will explain the options, costs and responsibilities in practical terms, with time for your questions.

Do I need to share personal finances with the group?

You can bring general questions. Keep account details and other private information for an individual conversation with your advisor.

What if I would rather meet one-to-one?

Choose “Talk privately” above and tell us whether you prefer your home or our office. We will contact you to arrange the meeting; submitting a request does not book an appointment.

What should I understand about reverse mortgages?

A reverse mortgage is a loan secured by your home. Interest and fees can increase what you owe and reduce the equity left to you or your heirs. You remain responsible for taxes, insurance, maintenance and occupancy requirements. Costs, alternatives and the circumstances that make repayment due deserve careful review.
